Future Garden Projects
I. Life Size Replica of the Garden Tomb We plan to build a Life Size Replica of the Garden Tomb grounds. Items needed: Rebar (reenforcement steel), cement, steel mesh ,stones, use of a backhoe.
II. The Roman Road, Journeys of Apostle Paul One entire section of the acreage is to be built as the Journeys of Apostle Paul. Surveyor is needed before January. We welcome committed volunteers, youth groups and folks of any age to help us with this project. We ask that you be committed to finishing the task that you select. The path is to be laid with bricks (the bricks are available) and require many helpers. This task will make you tired by the days end but the sense of accomplishment will be rewarding.
Future Development
To accomplish future projects at Palestine Gardens, the projects are broken down into smaller "little" tasks. Professors, bible students, and those who love to study in depth may want to consider to apply their abilities by taking a region ,city, place or event and making it into a visual presentation or supplying the research material. For example the Pax Romana and the Caesars could be depicted on ceramic tile reproduction photographs artistically embedded into a mosiac picture frame. With the history research, and pictures (pictures of statues, bust, or coins) of the rulers of this period, the researcher, a potter or someone who desires to learn, could help in the ceramic tile process. Marble chips are available for the mosiac artistry. Do you have this talent?
The list is numerious on ideas that may teach others of the past that we may understand today and appreciate the sacifices of those who came before us. We would welcome your ideas as well. We have housing available and RV hookups for those who want to be partners in these projects. We can feed you too!
We are currently working on Solomon's Portico in the Temple of Jerusalem as well as giving the City of Jerusalem a facelift. See Current Projects for more information and pictures.
